Euphoria Foundation

Ishi Tantia started this foundation because she donates majority of my profits to an NGO as she strongly believe in women empowerment and breaking the stigma about menstruation. She makes monthly donations for sanitary products and as awful as it is, even now in modern India, discrimination based on the sex of a child with regards to access to education and job opportunities is still prevalent. She hopes to spread awareness about this by growing her foundation and helping more underprivalleged girls

A 2014 report by the NGO Dasra titled ‘Spot On!’ informed that almost 23 million girls in India drop out of school annually, because of lack of menstrual hygiene management facilities, including availability of sanitary napkins and awareness about menstruation. The report further suggests that the girls, who don’t drop out, usually miss up to 5 days of school every month.
